Minerals

Non-Nano Titanium Dioxide

What it is

A white mineral pigment, used here in non-nano particle size so it stays on the surface of skin.

Why it is here

It is the opacity in the Liquid Foundation. Full coverage from botanicals needs a white base pigment to build the iron oxides against, and non-nano titanium dioxide is the one that does it without mica.

What you may notice

  • Full, even coverage
  • True shade in all light

Sourcing

Non-nano particle size only. We make no sun protection claim of any kind for this ingredient or this product.

In some formulas, not others

Titanium dioxide is in the Liquid Foundation and is not in the baked pressed line. If it is on your avoid list, the baked pressed compacts are formulated without it.

Questions we get

Is the titanium dioxide nano-sized?
No. We use non-nano particle size only, and we state it on the label rather than leaving it to be assumed.
Does it give sun protection?
We make no SPF claim. It is here as a coverage pigment.
Beautiful!!! This pressed foundation goes on like silk! I have many wrinkles but still feel confident wearing this. … I will order another in case they run out of this color. Non toxic and no titanium dioxide!!!! Love this!
